Last Saturday night, us BFFers embarked on what I’d like to call the real street photography in low light where there was plenty and plenty of subjects to shoot. Of course as we all know, it was the float procession in celebration of His Majesty’s 62nd birthday.

First.. a little self portrait session, in other words.. VAIN!

check out the traffic.. I left home at 4.45pm and reached town at 6.30pm! Distance from home: 14kms

and farewell to Ginny (2nd from left) who will be flying off to the middle east soon. The pic above was taken on her last flight with us.

These were taken using natural lights, in other words using only the available lights from the outside hence playing with light and shadow. Settings used were ISO100, aperture mode at f/2.8 using my 50mm lens.

I think it’s a standard ritual for the BFF members every time we celebrate a national event, early breakfast of roti telur jantan at the Indian restaurant at Jalan Sultan. And once the event is over, again we congregate at Babu Kitchen, our table getting longer and longer.
